Born and educated in the US, Jeff is a technically sophisticated executive whose broad experience across many industries, management experience in both client and vendor environments combine uniquely in a solid understanding of both vendor and customer perspectives.

Jeff's career spans a variety of Fortune 500 companies including The Hartford, Deere & Company, Baxter Healthcare and Allegiance Healthcare, service providers such as BellSouth Wireless Data, Sears Business Systems, Ram Mobile Data and Inacom, software developer Clientsoft, Inc. and an insurance company startup CCIDP, LLC.  He holds a Bachelors of Business (Cum Laude) from Western Illinois University.  He and his wife have made the Chicago/Milwaukee area their home since 1994.

Career accomplishments include:

Startup and Venture Funding

  • As Managing Director for accessAmerica Group, LLC, crafted go-to-market strategies for an insurance company startup (www.ccidp.com) including building product strategies, business development, IT strategy & execution and contracts negotiation. 
  • CCIDP, LLC is a privately held corporate and financial results are not published.  CCIDP has an annual target of over 1,500,000 policies in force for 2010.

Corporate Senior IT Leadership

  • As a division CIO for The Hartford, introduced BPM (business process management) front end to AS400 applications, reorganized IT department reducing headcount by 35% and expenses by 30%, introduced Governance, retooled staff skill sets/capabilities, established a PMO and SOX Compliance.
  • Fortune 100 Line Management experience managing multiple groups including development, training, implementation and technology infrastructure support.

Professional Services Practice Establishment

  • Established 2 professional services practices: Established strategy and tactics for contracts processes, project controls and web-based time reporting.
  • Drove efficiencies by attention to detail in project life cycle management (drove sales revenue, created contracts, delivery management & staffing).
  • Grew delivery capacity from $1.4m to over $11m in 18 mos., as VP, Professional Services, ClientSoft, Inc., increasing capacity by 375%, attaining 81% staff utilization with a 55% margin.
  • Increased sales revenue by 50% as Director, Professional Services, BellSouth Wireless Data, Created product solution (Immediate Notice of Loss) enabling insurance companies to reduce cycle times on auto claims, increasing communication and staff productivity (State Farm, Hartford, Travelers, etc).

Sales, Business Development & Revenue Attainment

  • As Technical Marketing Manager, Sears Business Centers/Inacom, pivotally involved in driving over $200 million in sales to customers such as Westinghouse, Sovran Bank, Sony, Farmers Insurance, Hawaii State Government and others, earning multiple Sales and Technical recognition awards.
